The terms of using Pursiva.

What Pursiva is

You give us a website and a line about what you sell. Pursiva reads that offer, builds an ideal customer profile you confirm or edit, researches the Polish market and returns a ranked list of companies — each with why it fits, why now, and a link to the source of every claim.

Pursiva identifies companies. It contacts nobody on your behalf, sends no message to anyone in your name, and neither stores nor returns an individual's name, email address or phone number; the people at a company are described by role. What we hold about you, and who processes it, is on our privacy page: /privacy.

During early access a person reads every list before it is sent to you. That is a promise we are making, not a description of what the software does on its own.

Who may use it

Pursiva is offered to businesses, for use in their own sales work. It is not offered to consumers, and by using it you confirm that you are acting for a business.

You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for keeping your results links inside your business.

Price, and what early access costs

One run is PLN 149, paid once. The weekly watch is PLN 299 a month.

Nothing can be charged today. There is no checkout, and during early access runs and watches cost nothing. If that changes we will tell you before it applies to you, and you will have to agree to it — an early-access run already delivered will never be invoiced afterwards.

When we do charge: we invoice in Polish złoty, and payment is by bank transfer against the invoice within 14 days. Whether the prices above are net or gross of VAT is not settled yet; the invoice will state which.

What a run delivers — and what happens when it comes back short

A run aims at up to 40 ranked companies. It is a sample of the market, not a census: we run a bounded set of searches, filter what comes back, research what survives that filter and score what we could research. A company we never saw is not a company we ruled out.

It can come back short, and it has. Our first production run scored 8 companies, not 40. A site we cannot read, a research budget spent early, or a narrow market all reduce the count, and we would rather deliver 8 with evidence than 40 padded out.

So the floor is written down. If a run you paid for delivers fewer than 20 companies, you choose within 14 days of delivery: we run it again at no charge, or we refund it in full. If it delivers nothing you can use, we refund it without you having to ask. Early access is free, so today the remedy is a re-run.

What you may do with the list

The list is yours to sell with: use it inside your business, share it with your own team, put it into your CRM, keep it after the link expires.

What you may not do with it:

• Resell, license or publish the list, or any part of it, as a data product.
• Pass it to anyone outside your business, or make it publicly available.
• Use it to build, train or feed a competing database, list or lead-selling service.
• Use it for anything unlawful, or for any purpose other than your own sales work.

The channel you choose is yours

Pursiva tells you which companies are worth pursuing and why now. Whether you approach them, how you do it and whether that contact is lawful is your decision as the sender.

In Poland, direct marketing by telephone or email has required the recipient's prior consent since the Electronic Communications Law came into force in November 2024, and business recipients are covered by it too. We point at the rule; we do not advise you on it. Nothing in your results — not a company's presence on the list, not its score — is a statement that contacting it is permitted.

Accuracy: we stand behind the source, not behind the fact

Every signal carries a link to where we found it. What we warrant is that link: that the claim we print is what the cited source said at the time we read it.

We do not warrant that the source itself is correct, complete or still current, that a company still does what its website says, or that it is in fact a buyer for what you sell. Registry data is what GUS returned at the moment of the lookup and is not re-checked afterwards.

A ranked list is our judgement about public evidence, made by software and read by a person. Verify anything you are about to act on.

Your results link

Results are delivered as a signed link. It works for 30 days from delivery and then stops working; the list itself is yours to keep.

We can revoke a link — if it has been shared outside your business, if these terms are broken, or if a company on it asks us to remove its record. Write to hello@usepursiva.com and, where it is right to, we will issue a fresh one.

The weekly watch

The watch re-checks a list already delivered to you every 7 days and emails you only when something has changed. A quiet week brings no email — that is the design, not a fault, and it is not a reason for a refund.

You turn the watch on and off yourself, on your results page, at any time. Off means nothing is re-checked; you can turn it back on from the same place.

Each pass has its own spending limit, so a very large list may be covered across several weeks rather than all in one pass.

Once the watch is chargeable it is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time, with effect from the end of the month already paid for. We do not refund part of a month that has begun.

What we do not promise

Nothing here is a promise of revenue, a reply, a meeting or a customer. We do not know what a delivered list produces: no contact, no reply and no meeting arising from any list we have delivered has ever been reported back to us, and we will not claim otherwise until one has.

Pursiva is early-access software. It can be unavailable, slow or wrong, and it changes often. We do not promise uptime, a delivery time, or that any part of it will keep working the way it does today.

Liability

Where we are liable to you, our total liability for all claims is capped at what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing has been charged during early access, so today that cap is the price of a single run.

We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, lost opportunity, or the consequences of a contact you decided to make.

None of this excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Polish law, including damage caused intentionally.

The companies in your list

They are businesses, found in public sources: their own websites, news, job boards and the Polish business registries. We do not read sole-trader register entries and we do not build profiles of individuals.

Ending it

You can stop using Pursiva whenever you like. Write to hello@usepursiva.com and we delete your requests, your profiles and your ratings.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or abuses the service, and we will say why. If we close an account for any other reason, anything paid for and not delivered is refunded.

We can change these terms. The current version is always on this page with the date it took effect. If a change is material and you are paying, we will tell you before it applies to you.

Who we are, and which law applies

Polish law applies. Anything we cannot settle between us is decided by the Polish court having jurisdiction over the operator's registered seat.
